Russian Hacker, BadB, Arrested

Thank goodness this criminal hacker has been caught by authorities, and arrested. Now, he can do no more harm to any of our computers anymore.

MOSCOW — On the Internet, he was known as BadB, a disembodied criminal flitting from one server to another selling stolen credit card numbers despite being pursued by the United States Secret Service.


And in real life, he was nearly as untouchable — because he lived in Russia.

BadB’s real name is Vladislav A. Horohorin, according to a statement released last week by the United States Justice Department, and he was a resident of Moscow before his arrest by the police in France during a trip to that country earlier this month.

He is expected to appear soon before a French court that will decide on his potential extradition to the United States, where Mr. Horohorin could face up to 12 years in prison and a fine of $500,000 if he is convicted on charges of fraud and identity theft. For at least nine months, however, he lived openly in Moscow as one of the world’s most wanted computer criminals.

The seizing of BadB provides a lens onto the shadowy world of Russian hackers, the often well-educated and sometimes darkly ingenious programmers who pose a recognized security threat to online commerce — besides being global spam nuisances — who often seem to operate with relative impunity.

A Good Debate on the Arizona Immigration Law

This is a good debate on the Arizona Immigration Law-actually it took place before the bill became law.  The federal law is a law which is supposed to be keeping American citizens safe, but the federal government refuses to enforce the federal law already on the books, so Arizona needed to pass this law for Arizonans' protection and to enforce the rule of law. But there are pro-violators who are against both the federal and Arizona laws, maybe people whom I would call anarchists or people who are pro-anarchy- definition of anarchy is a state of lawlessness and disorder- who are against these laws and for open borders all for the sake of social justice, and are ignoring the widespread ramifications of the increased ensuing violence that illegal immigrants have caused and brought into this country.  There needs to be law and order in our country and the Arizona law helps to do just that, at least for Arizonans. Russell Pearce is right on!!

Krauthammer: Obama is "On Wrong Side of Logic and Reason" On Miranda Rights For Terrorists-- They are NOT Merely Civilians Living in U.S.

Krauthammer applies common sense, logic, and the knowledge to know the best way to keep this country safe.  He comes up with the right answer on whether or not terrorists are obligated or required to be given miranda rights.  This administration has clearly been appeasing the far leftsists living in Hollywood. And, instead of taking their oaths of office seriously, caring about the safety of all Americans, this administration has decided to grant extra rights to terrorists, and made it ppolicy to negotiate with terrorists instead of using the common sense required to keep this country safe from terrorists. This administration has displayed callousness and illogical policies when it comes to keeping this country safe.
