Scott Brown Joins Dems and Crosses the Aisle- Conservatives Surprised? Really???
Conservatives took a gamble- we gambled on Scott Brown- out of desperation for any way to stop Obamacare, and because of his stance of being against Obamacare. But, deep down in our hearts, in our guts, we all knew that Scott Brown was a RINO. Yesterday, Scott Brown proved us right by voting "Yes" to send the Jobs Bill to the floor for a vote. We really shouldn't be surprised, but, yet we are. How could he turn on conservatives so fast? HELLO!!!! Conservatives, wake up!! Scott Brown was NEVER, and I repeat was never a conservative. He is a RINO and from Massachusetts, so we shouldn't be surprised that he is a compromiser, a politician who crosses the aisle, and is a progressive by today's standards. Martha Coakley Has Ruined People's Lives: Vote For Scott Brown
Coakley just can't seem to make the right decision. She makes the wrong decision in aiding a police officer who committed rape against his 23-month old niece. And, then she obtained fabricated evidence through the use of discredited techniques. She SUCKS!!!

"As for Coakley's record as a prosecutor and district attorney, it inspires even less confidence in Massachusetts voters. As the head of a child abuse and sex crimes unit and later as district attorney, Martha Coakley was a strong proponent of using discredited techniques of "recovering memory" of past child abuse.
As a result, innocent men like Gerald Amirault, a former daycare operator who, along with his mother and sister, was accused of molesting children in his care, was released a long 18 years after his conviction. Wall Street Journal writer Dorthy Rabinowitz, who won a Pulitzer Prize for her reporting on the Amirault case, wrote that after coaching by therapists, "Mrs. Amirault was accused of raping a child with a magic wand, of assaulting another sexually with a large butcher knife, Gerald of abusing children in a magic room while dressed as a clown, and Cheryl of similar unspeakable violations." After the case collapsed, and long after the family had been convicted, Coakley personally lobbied then-Governor Jane Swift to block Gerald Amirault's release.
While the Amirault case has received the most coverage, there's also the case of Ray and Shirley Souza, who were accused of molesting both their children and grandchildren. As with the Amarault case, no credible physical evidence existed of sexual assault—but that didn't stand in the way of the hyper-ambitious Coakley. "What we have are 6- and 7-year-old female children testifying credibly about incidents in the recent past." Those credible incidents included being forced to drink a "green potion" before being inappropriately touched, being molested by a giant robot, and Ray Souza putting his head in his granddaughter's vagina and "wiggling" it around.
The Amiraults and Souzas were railroaded; there lives were ruined. Coakley, always forthright about her political ambitions (in 2004, she announced that she would seek Sen. John Kerry's seat if he won the presidency), stands by her overzealous prosecutions and defends the convictions. When asked about the bizarre and incredible tales "recovered" by the Souza grandchildren, Coakley offered this curious defense of the prosecutions: "Kids cannot fabricate a comprehensive lie about putting their fingers in their grandmother's vagina and say it feels slimy and tell that to an interviewer and say it in court again six months later."
A decade ago, Coakley told The Boston Globe that if her political career were to flame out she would likely "retire to Martha's Vineyard and write murder mysteries." On Friday, liberal journalist Steve Kornacki reported that Coakley's own internal polling shows Brown with a three-point lead. I eagerly await Coakley's literary debut."
And, then she allows thuggery from her campaign. Here are two videos showing Coakley, allowing one of her campaign assistants to push John McCormack, a conservative reporter, down to the ground. She is a dirty, rotten politician. Croakley needs to be sent packing on Tuesday. She is NOT the right candidate for Massachusetts. Vote for Scott Brown!!!!

Martha Coakley is Soft on Criminals Who Commit Sex Crimes
There are some things that have happened during my life that I will NEVER forget. I have been sexually assaulted twice in my life. While this can never be forgotten, I do believe that time can heal both physical and psychological wounds. I will not tolerate politicians, judges, or any others who are soft on criminals or believe that criminals deserve every break in the book. I will not tolerate those who allow and/or aid others in sexual crimes in any way, shape, or form. I am appalled at Martha Coakley's blatant ignorance toward this horrific crime. I am outraged at her lackadasical approach in helping this innocent 23- month- old victim who was raped by her Uncle, who just happened to be a police officer. It is unconscionable that Coakley avoided the horrible reality and evil nature of this crime combined with her ineptitude in NOT making sure that this monster was kept off of the streets. Coakley has shown that she doesn't have the moral fiber or common sense to be a Senator of Massachusetts. She obviously favors the criminal over the victim. She makes me sick!
We need to encourage women and teenagers to come forward when they are sexually violated. I am so sick of this upside down world and how some people treat victims as if they are the criminals, and how some people treat criminals as if they are the victims. This makes no sense to me. I do realize that the police must verify the victims claim is true. I also, understand the police must make sure to the best of their ability that they are arresting the correct criminal. That is a good thing. That is the police officers doing their job. I would expect nothing less from the police. But, as citizens, we must not put up with pure and utter incompetence, people looking the other way, harsh treatment of victims, lax treatment of sexual deviants by officials who are supposed to be speaking up for the weak, and people who are supposed to be looking out for victims, but in fact, DON'T. This is inexcusable!!! We need to make sure that these criminals are held accountable for their crimes.
We must stop these criminals from hurting even more victims than they have already. We must be aware of these types of predators in our neighborhoods and in public areas. We must be alert at all times and be like shields for children, keeping them away from these sexual deviants. Keeping kids safe should be a top priority for us all regardless of whether you are a parent or not.

Two weeks before the special election to replace Sen. Edward Kennedy, the Boston Globe brings attention to criticism Democratic candidate Martha Coakley got in 2005 for seeming lax in the treatment of a rape suspect. Coakley's camp cannot be happy with the recounting of this story in the local paper:
In October 2005, a Somerville police officer living in Melrose raped his 23-month-old niece with a hot object, most likely a curling iron.
Keith Winfield, then 31, told police he was alone with the toddler that day and made additional statements that would ultimately be used to convict him.
But in the aftermath of the crime, a Middlesex County grand jury overseen by Martha Coakley, then the district attorney, investigated without taking action.
It was only after the toddler’s mother filed applications for criminal complaints that Coakley won grand jury indictments charging rape and assault and battery.
Even then, nearly 10 months after the crime, Coakley’s office recommended that Winfield be released on personal recognizance, with no cash bail. He remained free until December 2007, when Coakley’s successor as district attorney won a conviction and two life terms.
Coakley argues that she followed all appropriate procedures, that the suspect had deep roots in the community and no criminal record, giving her little reason to ask for cash bail.
Still the Globe's description of the crime is pretty devastating, as are the quotes from the victim's family and the fact that the victim spent a month in the hospital recovering from burns.
There's also a timely, local angle that will give this story an even more visceral quality for voters:
Recently, the question of bail in child rape cases made local headlines when a Kingston man was accused of raping a 3-year-old girl while free on $10,000 cash bail, which was imposed after an earlier charge of breaking and entering and raping a 5-year-old girl. Prosecutors had recommended $200,000 cash bail after the first alleged rape, but a judge would not agree to it.
Jules Crittenden, on Coakley's justifications:
Well, be that as it may, there are always good reasons to do nothing. The annals of Massachusetts justice are full of them. The morgues of Massachusetts newspapers are full of stories about the further rapes and murders that followed.
Back to Coakley’s run, this is just the latest friendly fire. Earlier the Globe wacked her for a go-lightly deal that left the late infamous diddler priest, John Geoghan, free to diddle.

Highlights From Final Debate Between Scott Brown & Martha Coakley
"But the sharpest exchanges came over national security, with Brown hammering Coakley for supporting civilian prosecution of suspected terrorists - including the alleged mastermind of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, Khalid Shaikh Mohammed - and for not backing President Obama’s proposal to add troops in Afghanistan."
' “We are at war,’’ Brown said. “We’re at war in our airports. We’re at war in our shopping malls. I have to be honest with you, folks. . . . I’m scared at some of the policies that I’ve heard.’’ '
Coakley at times seemed annoyed by Brown’s rhetoric, accusing him of stretching the truth.
At times, Brown took umbrage when Coakley challenged him.
“I’m not in your courtroom,’’ he said at one point, as Coakley displayed a wry smile. “I’m not a defendant.’’
Brown also bristled at suggestions that the seat he was seeking was a Kennedy seat, despite being held for decades by a family member or confidant.
“With all due respect, it’s not the Kennedys’ seat,’’ Brown said. “It’s not the Democrats’ seat. It’s the people’s seat.’’
“You can run against Bush-Cheney, but I’m Scott Brown,’’ Brown responded. “I live in Wrentham. I drive a truck.’’
He went on to assert that Coakley’s fiscal policies - her support for a health care overhaul, for rolling back the tax cuts signed by Bush, and for a cap-and-trade system to stem climate change - would raise taxes and cost jobs.
“There’s no one that’s listening right now that believes, Martha, that you are the tax-cutting candidate,’’ Brown said.
“The climate is always changing; it always has,’’ he said. “There’s a question of whether it’s manmade or natural, and it’s probably a combination of both.’’
But the Republican’s main goal last night seemed to be to try to cast Coakley as weak on terrorism.

Issues
Why I'm Running...America is a great country but we also have some challenges that we need to solve if we're going to remain the world's superpower. The most important of our challenges is getting the U.S. economy moving again. People are hurting as they struggle to make ends meet. They're worried about their future, and that of their children and grandchildren. I want to ensure that we leave them an America that is financially stronger and independent: minus a national debt that we can never repay.
Health Care
I believe that all Americans deserve health care coverage, but I am opposed to the health care legislation that is under consideration in Congress and will vote against it. It will raise taxes, increase government spending and lower the quality of care, especially for elders on Medicare. I support strengthening the existing private market system with policies that will drive down costs and make it easier for people to purchase affordable insurance. In Massachusetts, I support the 2006 healthcare law that was successful in expanding coverage, but I also recognize that the state must now turn its attention to controlling costs.
Economy
I am a free enterprise advocate who believes that lower taxes can encourage economic growth. Raising taxes stifles growth, weakens the economy and puts more people out of work. Our economy works best when individuals have more of their income to spend, and businesses have money to invest and add jobs. I have been a fiscal watchdog in the state legislature fighting bigger government, higher taxes and wasteful spending.
Energy and Environment
I support common-sense environment policy that will help to reduce pollution and preserve our precious open spaces. I realize that without action now, future generations will be left to clean up the mess we leave. In order to reduce our dependence on foreign oil, I support reasonable and appropriate development of alternative energy sources such as wind, solar, nuclear, geothermal and improved hydroelectric facilities. I oppose a national cap and trade program because of the higher costs that families and businesses would incur.
Education
I am passionate about improving the quality of our public schools. Accountability and high standards are paramount. I support choice through charter schools, as well as the MCAS exam as a graduation requirement. I have worked to ensure that all children have access to a quality education. I am a strong advocate for the METCO program, which provides lower income students with broader educational opportunities.
Immigration
I recognize that our strength as a nation is built on the immigrant experience in America. I welcome legal immigration to this country. However, we are also a nation of laws and government should not adopt policies that encourage illegal immigration. Providing driver’s licenses and in-state tuition to illegal immigrant families will act as a magnet in drawing more people here in violation of the law and it will impose new costs on taxpayers. I oppose amnesty, and I believe we ought to strengthen our border enforcement and institute an employment verification system with penalties for companies that hire illegal immigrants.
Veterans
As a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army National Guard, I am uniquely aware of the importance and sacrifice of our men and women serving in the military. I have been a vigorous supporter of legislation providing benefits to returning service members, as well as, benefits for the families of those killed in action. I believe we need to recognize the sacrifice of all of our servicemembers by keeping better track of returning military personnel so they get the services they deserve. That includes providing them with first-class medical care and other benefits to which they are entitled. I am known as a leader on veterans' issues through my work on the Veterans and Federal Affairs Committee, the Hidden Wounds of War Commission, and the Governor's Task Force on Returning Veterans.
Gun issues
I support the Second Amendment and believe that citizens have the right to keep and bear arms as a basic constitutional liberty. I support safe and responsible gun ownership.
Death penalty
I believe there are some crimes that are so heinous that they deserve capital punishment. Our Government should have the ability to impose the death penalty in cases where it is justified.
Abortion
While this decision should ultimately be made by the woman in consultation with her doctor, I believe we need to reduce the number of abortions in America. I believe government has the responsibility to regulate in this area and I support parental consent and notification requirements and I oppose partial birth abortion. I also believe there are people of good will on both sides of the issue and we ought to work together to support and promote adoption as an alternative to abortion.
Marriage
I believe marriage is between a man and a woman. States should be free to make their own laws in this area, so long as they reflect the people's will as expressed through them directly, or as expressed through their elected representatives.
Israel
Israel has made enormous sacrifices in an attempt to secure peace – including unilateral withdrawal from Gaza. I support a two-state solution that reaffirms Israel’s right to exist and provides the Palestinians with a place of their own where both sides can live in peace and security. As our closest ally in the Middle East, Israel lives every day under the threat of terror yet shares with America a dedication to democratic ideals, a respect for faith, and a commitment to peace in the region. Until a lasting peace is achieved, I support the security barrier erected by Israel which has proven successful in protecting Israeli civilians from terrorist attacks.
Iran
I support the bi-partisan Iran sanctions bill and believe that until Ahmadinejad gives up his nuclear ambitions he should be isolated from the rest of the world. With its reckless pursuit of nuclear weapons, Iran represents the biggest threat to Israel. Ahmadinejad is a Holocaust denier who has threatened to wipe Israel off the map. Meeting with him confers legitimacy when the only correct response is to treat him as an outcast. A personal meeting with Ahmadinejad, as suggested by my opponent, would embolden him and be used as a propaganda tool to strengthen his position.
