Simply Tell the Truth ABC, CBS, NBC, & the New York Times

The Media Research Center has started a campaign called Tell The Truth,  which has trucks that say “Stop the Liberal Bias, Tell the Truth!” circling the Manhattan headquarters of ABC, CBS, NBC, and the New York Times.  This is great! A loud and clear message needs to be sent to these liberal propagandists who claim to be running news organizations.  Hooray for Brent Bozell!!! News organizations need to simply tell us the news without giving us their biased opinions in favor of this administration's policies.  They simply need to relay the facts to the viewers and then let the viewers decide what to believe, instead of trying to persuade the viewer to agree with their opinions on the various topics and controversies.

The billboard trucks in Manhattan says: “Hey CBS, Stop the Liberal Bias, Tell the Truth!”  and the back of the truck says, “Honk If You Don’t Believe The Liberal Media.”  The other trucks bear the same message but directed at ABC, NBC, and the New York Times.

"Similar trucks also are operating in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, passing the offices of the broadcast networks, the Washington Post, CNN, the Newseum, the National Press Club and Politico, and ads about the campaign are running on numerous Web sites and on conservative talk radio programs."

'L. Brent Bozell III, president of the Media Research Center (MRC), the parent organization of CNSNews.com, said the goal of this 2010 “Tell the Truth!” campaign “is simple: to force the liberals in the media to stop pushing an agenda and just tell the truth.”'

'The “liberal media news networks” need to report the facts about “massive growth in government and its control over our lives, and about spending, deficits and debt,” he told CNSNews.com. “They also need to tell the truth about the efforts to turn our country into a European-style Socialist state.”'

Here is Brent Bozell on the Tell The Truth Campaign:

Reporting the Truth Gets You Fired

This is unreal. This ABC reporter actually reports the news - tells the truth - and gets fired. I guess you can't tell the truth about the Obama administration when working for the government controlled media or the lamestream media and expect to keep your job. This is outrageous!Source URL: https://outlawrepublican.blogspot.com/search/label/ABC

Neal McDonough Refuses to Act in Heated Love Scenes in Scoundrels & Gets Fired

I find it utterly despicable that ABC has fired Neal McDonough because he refused to take part in heated love scenes with Virginia Madsen on ABC's new series Scoundrels instead of  respecting his moral values, and working around the issue.  Neal is a family man and a Catholic.  In addition,  he has always made it clear that he won't do sex scenes so this wasn't something new that came up out of the blue. And, ABC knew this from day one, when they hired him.  Hollywood liberals (and liberals in general) like to think that they are the most tolerant people, when in fact they are the most intolerant people on the face of the earth.  This proves that liberals do not respect individual actors' morals if it happens to be different than their own.  Hollywood is primarily a cesspool of immoral libs and has made it clear that if you don't follow their lifestyle of sexual deviancy than your not a part of the in crowd, and you will get punished for that.

Dick Cheney, National Security Wizard, Wins The War of Words With Biden

Biden is full of hot air. Joe Biden's mouth has been spewing the rhetoric of opportunism, truth bending, and flat out lies. This administration loves to use revisionist history in taking credit in both economic and foreign affairs. As you will see below, the video shows both Joe Biden and Barack Obama stating that they were adamantly against the surge. The other video shows Dick Cheney defendiing Bush policies on ABC's This Week. I am so sick of this me, me, me mentality where Biden, Obama, and the rest of their administration takes credit for policies that they clearly had nothing to do with, and in fact repudiated. Obama and Biden should both be praising and ashowing that they're proud of our brave soldiers overseas but instead they are looking to fulfill their self indulgences, personal gratification campaign, and furthering their political agendas. How utterly despicable! Biden should be displaying gratitude for the sacrifice that our troops made during the successful surge in Iraq. Yes, that is what turned around the war in Iraq. But, no, they can't give Bush one iota of credit of success for anything. MSM political pundits and the White House officials have misapplied Iraq success to the Obama administration when both the soldiers and Bush deserve the crdit for the successful surge in Iraq.
The Obama administration continues to play the Bush blame game. The Obama administration has issues with it needing a false sense of self gratifiation. They also continue to display a childish naivety in refusing to accept responsibility for both actions and inactions with relation to problems that have been both created and exacerbated by this administration. Cheney did an excellent job at pointing out the differences in the cases of the shoe bomber and the underwear bomber. The shoe bomber incident took place only a couple months after 9/11, when military tribunals were not already in place and Eric Holder's law firm continually represented the terrorists and challenged the legitimacy of military tribunals all the way up to the Supreme Court. But, nine years later the military tribunals are in place so it is only proper to try our enemy in front of a military commission. Dick Cheney explains how this administration has chosen in a nonsensical manner to limit the tools that they can use to keep us safe from another terrorist attack. Cheney tells us what he believes is necessary to keep this country safe instead of this adminstration's weak policies of accommodating and appeasing our enemies. In my opinion, Dick Cheney wins the war of words, and the national security debate hands down.

Laura Ingraham Slams Charlie Gibson & Fox's Ratings Soar

Laura Ingraham on ABC's "This Week" slammed Charlie Gibson over his incompetence, or willful ignorance in knowing absolutely nothing about the ACORN scandal.  On the Roundtable they discussed the White House's war on Fox News.  I absolutely love how Fox's ratings are soaring like an eagle above all the buzzards attempting to be news networks.  Z of The Baltimore Sun described CNN & MSNBC as not being in the same galaxy as Fox News, and I agree with that analysis.

Here is a video of this week's Roundtable and a link to ratings showing that Fox News is blowing the rest of the news networks out of the water. These other networks are not even close to catching up to Fox's tail. MSNBC & CNN are like turtles going in slow motion who haven't got a damn clue about legitimate reporting.

ABC, Obama and The One - Sided View

    The Debate That Never Was

Last Wednesday night ABC held a town hall meeting promoting President Obama’s health care agenda. ABC and other liberals want you to believe that this was a debate on how to fix costs within the health care industry. But, for there to be a debate there must be more than one view presented. And that didn’t happen. Commercials were not even allowed to be purchased to show opposing or different ideas on the health care debate. Debate is a very good thing when you are trying to figure out how to fix a system that is broken. The fact that ABC wants to pretend that there was debate and discussion regarding the health care industry is a crock of s**t. One view equals no debate for it is clearly not possible. There was a question and answer session where Obama answered citizens’ questions about his nationalized health care plan.

Obama to Jane: Your Ma Ma is so Old . . .

There was one question and answer that peaked my interest. For Obama’s answer was so cold and appalling that I thought that he was Frankenstein talking about a robot or a mannequin, and not an actual person. Here is the dialogue between Jane Sturm and President Obama:
Member of the audience. Jane Sturm: "My mother is now over 105. But at 100, the doctors said to her, 'I can't do anything more unless you have a pacemaker.' I said, 'Go for it.' She said, 'Go for it.' But the specialist said, 'No, she's too old.' But when the other specialist saw her and saw her joy of life, he said, 'I'm going for it.' That was over five years ago. My question to you is: Outside the medical criteria for prolonging life for somebody who is elderly, is there any consideration that can be given for a certain spirit, a certain joy of living, a quality of life, or is it just a medical cutoff at a certain age?"

Obama: "I don't think that we can make judgments based on people's 'spirit.' Uh, that would be, uh, a pretty subjective decision to be making. I think we have to have rules that, uh, say that, uh, we are going to provide good quality care for all people. End-of-life care is one of the most difficult sets of decisions that we're going to have to make. But understand that those decisions are already being made in one way or another. If they're not being made under Medicare and Medicaid, they're being made by private insurers. At least we can let doctors know -- and your mom know -- that you know what, maybe this isn't going to help. Maybe you're better off, uhh, not having the surgery, but, uhh, taking the painkiller."

Obama to Obsolete Human Robots-Take a Pill and Drop Dead

Jane explained to Obama that her mother has lived an additional five years after the pacemaker was put in her mother’s heart. What was stunning to me was that in Obama’s response he was clearly stating that the procedure which extended her mother’s life should have never happened. Even after knowing the outcome Obama states that retroactively this procedure should not have been performed, because under his plan, we’re going to make those decisions means that the Govt. will be deciding in your old age whether a procedure is worth it or not, whether it is cost effective to save your life or not. Should we really be letting the government decide on our outcomes based on the dollar? A life is more precious and valuable than the almighty dollar. From Obama making this statement I surmise that he believes that money is worth more than a human life and displays that he believes life is dispensable. Well, there are other humans to take your place so why spend so much money to keep you alive? Maybe the family members want their loved one to stay around as long as they can. With a private insurance there are options. A person and their loved ones, and the doctors can make the decision whether the procedure should be done and whether the costs are worth it or not depending on the procedure, specifically, whether it should be paid for out of pocket if the insurance company refuses to cover it. Nationalized heath care such as that proposed by Obama, and practiced in Canada and England, eliminates the latter option.

Like Obama said, there must be rules that will not account for subjectivity or one’s spirit. It’s just the hard, cold reality that the rule must be followed even though a person could have been saved if it wasn’t for a certain rule. Does Obama believe that human lives are like robots one and the same? He states that end of life decisions should not be subjective, but yet the elderly should be subjected to rules like on a production line, like a product. Humans are not mere products or inanimate objects, humans are living beings who are subjective and need to be treated in that manner when making health related decisions. Human beings are not to merely be treated as robots following rules. He implied even though her mother has lived longer because of the surgery, she would have been better off just taking pain medication. In fact, Obama basically said that she, as an elderly woman, should not have been allowed to have the surgery because it was not cost effective.

ABC, Obama, and Health Care -- A Vast Left-Wing Conspiracy

In an article written by Jennifer Harper of The Washington Times on Friday June, 19, 2009, she writes about the 60-minute ABC program, to air live from the White House on Wednesday.
Is there a conflict of interest in ABC doing this hour long feature promoting Obama’s health care reform? YES
    Here is one example:
“ABC employees gave 80 times as much money to Mr. Obama's 2008 campaign for president than to his rival's. According to an analysis of campaign donations by the Center for Responsive Politics, conducted at The Times' request, ABC employees in several divisions donated $124,421 to the Obama campaign, compared with $1,550 to the presidential campaign of Sen. John McCain.”

ABC is not allowing any airing of opposing views or which offer a different viewpoint during ABC’s hour at the White House. ABC has become the propaganda machine for the White House. Does ABC have some stake in promoting the President’s health care plan? There is talk that if ABC helps Obama then ABC will get a bailout from Obama, if they need one. If that is true, then I believe that the relationship that ABC news and Obama has in ABC promoting his health care reform is a probably one of the biggest conflicts of interest in history. Obama has stated that he will consider all suggestions and all other health care reform proposals brought before him . By him not allowing any alternate views on health care reform during this ABC hour at the White House, and not allowing the American people to hear different options during this town hall question-and-answer session, the President is sending the opposite message. Both ABC and Obama are sending a clear message that it must be the Obama health care plan or else. What happened to giving the American people an opportunity to hear all the options regarding health care that are on the table? What happened to giving Americans choice? Or do the Democrats only promote that agenda when its in line with their agenda and when convenient for them, like in the case of abortion. Forevermore, since ABC news has become the propaganda machine for the White House, it shall be renamed the ALL Barack Channel. Under Obama, this is becoming the land of forcing stuff down your throat and not letting you get all the facts, only the positive facts that Obama wants to give you, but not the whole truth.

“Denied a chance to question Mr. Obama on his policy or buy advertising time on the program, Republicans said ABC denied them equal time for the town-hall-style event, accusing the network of turning "its entire programming over to President Obama and his big-government agenda," RNC Chairman Michael S. Steele said in the organization's second public letter to the network in 48 hours.”

According to Harper, “An informal online poll at the New York Daily News on Thursday found that 75 percent of the respondents did not "trust" ABC to provide even-handed coverage.”

"ABC is in bed with their source, so to speak. ABC is supposed to be a news organization, not a producer of infomercials for national health care. And I wonder what they would have done if the Bush administration had asked for positive programming to support the war on terror or Social Security initiatives," said Dan Gainor, BMI vice president of business and culture.

Ted Devine, a Democratic strategist, says that he detected the vast right-wing conspiracy from Republicans. I guess if you call wanting more than one option presented to the American people regarding health care reform a vast right-wing conspiracy, then the GOP and conservatives are guilty. The GOP actually wants to present more options to the American people other than the one option which would be clearly a government-run health care system. The government has underestimated costs and screwed up anything and everything to do with government from social security to welfare. What makes you think that the President’s projected costs for his health care proposal are correct? Do we really want a single-payer health care system? Does Obama want the U.S.’s health care to look like Canada or England? These countries have long lines and patients must even wait for much needed life saving medical procedures. I believe that Obama’s health care plan must be stopped!!!! If Obama’s health care reform proposal is passed through Congress I believe that this will be the death of the greatest health care in the world -American health care.

Yes, I do believe that the health care industry does need some kind of overhaul. I do not think that government-run health care is the answer. I do believe that the cost of health care services must be reduced. Health care professionals must stop being beholden to the private insurance companies. I believe that if the Democrats get their way, then physicians will be subservient to the government and whether the government will approve a medical procedure based on the cost effectiveness of the procedure., and not based on whether the patient actually needs the medical procedure or not.

Is this an example of the vast left-wing conspiracy? Source URL: https://outlawrepublican.blogspot.com/search/label/ABC
