Second Time Audience Breaks Into Pledge of Allegiance Despite the League of Women Voters Moderator Objecting

For some reason I can't get the video to load so above are two links to the video.

This is the second time that a League of Women Voters moderator has tried to deny the audience from saying the Pledge of Allegiance when requested before a debate.  This is also the second time the audience stood up and said the Pledge, making sure the Pledge would be said, before the debate.  Tim Murphy is actually my Representative and is a conservative.

Pinocchio Sestak

Sestak's nose is surely growing due to all of his rampant dishonesty.  Apparently, Sestak has potentially violated House ethics rules barring earmarks going to for-profit groups.  But, now Sestak & Co. is spinning this story in an effort to explain away such dishonesty.


From NRO: At issue is whether Sestak’s congressional office was aware that Devitt, who requested a $350,000 earmark as chairman of the Thomas Paine Foundation, also heads a for-profit group called New Way Energy, LLC., which would have “partnered” with his foundation to develop a potentially for-profit wind prototype.



The problem is: The Thomas Paine Foundation exists only on paper. Calls from Battle ‘10 to the foundation were unsuccessful. An automated message noted that the number had been disconnected. The foundation hasn’t filed a federal tax return in six years. In 2004, its most recent filing year, its budget totaled $195, with “program expenses” amounting to $65.


The Thomas Paine Foundation “partners” with the Freethought Society of Greater Philadelphia, an atheist advocacy group, though in comments to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Devitt said the latter advocacy group had “nothing to do with the request.”


April Mellody, spokeswoman for Sestak’s campaign, blamed Devitt for misleading congressional staffers when applying for his earmark. But Devitt told the Tribune-Review, “I don’t believe I misled them.”


Nachama Soloveichik, Pat Toomey’s communications director, told Battle ‘10, “Either Congressman Sestak isn’t telling Pennsylvanians the whole truth about his latest earmark violation, or his office is guilty of gross incompetence.”



Critics have emerged, including Pennsylvania Republican Chairman Rob Gleason, who have questioned how thoroughly Sestak’s congressional office researches earmark requests.


The earmark request has been rejected by a House appropriations subcommittee. But that it was even proposed by Sestak raises the question of what Sestak’s office considers “due diligence.” What would qualify a foundation — with no prior research and development experience and whose most recent programs budget totaled $65 — for a $350,000 wind-energy grant?



With his involvement in "jobsgate" and this new accusation, Sestak is certainly proving himself to be an extremely untrustworthy candidate for the Pa Senate seat.  This is why as many Pennsylvanians as possible must get out and vote for Pat Toomey, who is trustworthy, in the November election.

John Murtha Dies at Age 77

John Murtha, Congressman from Pa,  has died today due to complications from gallbladder surgery.  He died at the age of 77. "He died at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, Va., spokesman Matthew Mazonkey said."  Since I don't have much good to say about the man and don't want to speak ill of the dead, I am just asking everyone to pray for his soul.  I am keeping his family in my prayers.  Now, we can elect a moral person to Congress in his Pa district- Johnstown, Pa.Source URL: https://outlawrepublican.blogspot.com/search/label/PA

I Had a Fabulous Time at the Michele Bachmann Rally in Washington D.C.

I had a fabulous time at the rally in Washington D.C. on Thursday, November 5th. It was wonderful hearing from Michele Bachmann, Jon Voight, Mark Levin, and many other politicians at the health care protest. In the latter part of the afternoon, a group of us were able to meet with one of our congressman Jason Altmire(PA-D). He is a damn wiffle-waffler!!! The man irks me because he would not commit to anything. He said that he would not vote for a health care bill if that contains certain items in it. Which this does. But, he still wouldn't commit to voting NO on this Bill.
I said to Rep. Altmire,"Are you really listening to us? Or are our words just going in one ear and out the rest? This Health Care Bill has nothing to do with health care. This is about taking away our freedom and liberty." Well, I didn't get a response from him. He did end up voting against Pelosicare but, I think he was waiting for Speaker Pelosi to tell him how to vote. I think that he was waiting for the evil witch to wave her wand, and give him a command on whether he could vote Yes or No, on Pelosicare. Even so, I did appreciate him taking time out to listen(maybe?) to us.

Toomey and Sestak Debate at Health Care Town Hall

Last night, I watched two candidates running for the senate seat in Pa face off on the health care debate at Muhlenbergh College in Pa. Pat Toomey and Joe Sestak are two candidates who want to oust Arlen Specter from his senatorial seat in 2010. Pat Toomey is in the lead in the Republican primary, according to a Rasmussen poll. Pat Toomey's popularity spread like wildfire among Republicans, and then Sen. Arlen Specter like the opportunist that he is, ran to the Democrats like he was scared. Joe Sestak is challenging Arlen Specter in the Democratic Primary. The two both agree that health care reform is needed but disagree on how to fix it.



When Sestak spoke during his opening statement he looked like he was auditioning for Broadway. Sestak is against Tort Reform. He claims that it is only a very small percentage of the health care problem. Sestak said, competition is important but he doesn't want to open up the borders so that citizens can cross state lines to buy health insurance. As the debate moved along Sestak started with this dramatic sob stories, and then looked like he was going to cry. To me, he was acting like a drama queen. It was like he was trying to gain the sympathy vote, or something. Sestak was there defending and promoting Obama's health care bill.



Toomey said that we need to change the way we pay for health care, that access to health care is a problem, and that escalating costs is also a problem. Toomey said that big government mandates, huge new taxes on both workers and employers is not the correct way to fix the health care problem. Toomey is pro Tort Reform. Toomey is positively for opening up the borders so that there can be more competition among insurance companies and citizens will be able to cross state lines to buy health insurance policies. This type of competition would almost certainly force the health insurance companies to lower the costs related to health care. In Pat Toomey describing U.K.'s health care, he said that the U.K. has commissions who decides who gets health care and who doesn't. And, the commission has stated that one person's life for 6 months is worth $23,000. That is exactly how much Britain will spend on a person's health care over a 6 month period. Plus, Toomey stated that a huge number of Canadians cross over the border to the United States to gain better access to health care.



Sestak was like a guy in an empty suit. He wasn't very inspiring at all. He was boring. His answers seemed like they were in some type of code. Toomey was straightforward. In my opinion, he was on fire and nailed every question. Toomey, a former business owner, even made the connection of how Obama's health care bill would affect small business owners.

Five People Dead in Pittsburgh Shooting

Last night, in a suburb of Pittsburgh, PA there was a shooting that has left 5 people dead including the shooter. This was not at a high school, or at a museum, but at a fitness center, where people were simply exercising.

Last night at a little past 8:00 in the evening a gunman came into the L.A. Fitness in Bridgeville, PA and just started shooting.

"A witness tells the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette newspaper she was in an exercise class when a man came in a back door and started shooting. Ashley Ogordowski says a friend of hers was among the wounded."
"Gym member Lauren Dooley tells the Post-Gazette she heard 12 to 15 shots."

According to KDKA News in Pittsburgh, the shooter's website has some insight into his plan. The shooter, George Sodini, had a blog that has since been taken down, but Shabooty has some of his latest postings recorded in his diary.
" The final entry of the diary was from Tuesday. In it, Sodini says that he spoke with a neighbor who was upbeat, but that full concentration was necessary for him to complete his task."
"Maybe soon, I will see God and Jesus. At least that is what I was told. Eternal life does not depend on works. If it did, we will all be in hell… I was reading the Bible and The Integrity of God beginning yesterday, because soon I will see them."

What a psycho!! and What a Sicko :(


One of the people that was shot and killed was a woman who just happened to be pregnant and this was to be her last night working at L.A. Fitness. This is just pure nonsense!! I am thankful that this violent individual is now permanently off the streets.
