NPR needs to sink or swim on its own. Since NPR, it's executives and journalists spew hatred towards conservatives and the Tea Party movement then let's see whether NPR can survive without government funding which is funded by taxpaying Americans, including those conservative and Tea Party patriots who are so despised by NPR. Why should Americans who are hated by NPR be paying to keep this radical "news" organization afloat?

"A man who appears to be a National Public Radio senior executive, Ron Schiller, has been captured on camera savaging conservatives and the Tea Party movement.
“The current Republican Party, particularly the Tea Party, is fanatically involved in people’s personal lives and very fundamental Christian – I wouldn’t even call it Christian. It’s this weird evangelical kind of move,” declared Schiller, the head of NPR’s nonprofit foundation, who last week announced his departure for the Aspen Institute.
This is extremely disturbing. This is yet another reason for Congress to defund NPR. Ron Schiller states that NPR only gets about 10 percent of it's funding from the government and that they would be better off if the government did stop funding them. I agree.
